Local Charity Accepting Donations Throughout North Carolina

National Kidney Services (NKS) is a local charity that gladly accepts donation items of all kinds from residents throughout North Carolina. From the donations we receive, we generate proceeds that are used to help fund various programs aimed at raising awareness of and providing care for individuals affected by chronic kidney disease, an illness currently affecting more than 31 million people in America.

Just some of the many tax-deductible* donation items that you can contribute to our local charity in North Carolina include:

• Clothing for men, women, and children
• Footwear of all kinds
• Electronics, including radios and DVD players
• Antiques and collectibles
• Kitchenware
• Small home appliances
• Small home furniture pieces
• Toys for children
• Books
• Home décor
• And more

By joining our regular donation pickup contact list, you can have a representative from our local charity contact you every six to eight weeks and ask if you have anything to give. If you do, we’ll swing by to pick it all up for you; and if not, we’ll simply call back in another six to eight weeks. Or, you can opt to drop off the items you have to give at one of the Value Village thrift department stores located in the Charlotte Metro and Triad areas.
